Catherine M. Gynn

Catherine M. (Catie) Gynn is chief information officer and director of Information & Technology Services for the Newark regional campus of The Ohio State University, and an associate adjunct professor in the Department of Industrial, Interior, & Visual Communication Design. She has been a co-facilitator for the National Learning Infrastructure Initiative’s (now EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative) Virtual Communities of Practice project. Her research areas include teaching and learning with technology, media project management, design of learning spaces, and visual rhetoric especially as it relates to new media technologies. Catie previously served as assistant director of eLearning for Ohio State (Columbus) and managed Ohio State’s Digital Union, a faculty and graduate student research facility.
