Jon Dolan

Jon Dolan started his computing career at Oregon State University in 1988 while working on a bachelor's degree in Mathematics. He was hired as a lab consultant for the newly opened student microcomputer lab, and was the student supervisor for the lab within a year. When he graduated in 1992, he was hired by OSU as the Senior Netware Administrator where he finished a campus wide implementation of Novell Netware and Cc:Mail. He went on to lead other campus wide technology initiatives such as OSU's Residence Hall Network, wireless networking, Email system redesign, Microsoft Networking, the MS Exchange deployment, the statewide WAN for extension offices, and others.Jon is currently the Data Services Manager for OSU where he manages two teams of IT professionals providing campus wide Networking and basic Network Applications. He serves as co-chair of the campus IT Coordination Committee and is a recognized campus leader on IT topics.
