| Abstract: | Authentic learning engages students in the multidisciplinary problem solving and critical thinking researchers and experts use every day. While the concept isn't new, it is receiving renewed attention as advances in technology enable access to a greater range of real and virtual environments. Authentic learning activities depend on student buy-in and enthusiasm for success. This paper explores student attitudes toward authentic learning, highlighting its benefits as well as potential concerns. |
