Abstract:

Demands have exceeded resources in IT for years, and the divide seems to widen every year. It is essential that the institution's leaders understand the importance of identifying the highest priorities and ensuring that resources and funds are allocated toward those priorities. Intelligent portfolio management should be on the radar of every IT leader. At Texas Tech University System, Projects and Resources for Information Systems Management (PRISM) demonstrates how both ERP and legacy systems can be managed within the application portfolio across a multi-institution environment.
