Abstract:

The collaboration was kick started by the diversity and passion of a heterogeneous group including museums, K–12, educational networks, and colleges/universities interested in Internet2 connectivity and the buildout of a shared regional network infrastructure. The presentation will review the operational startup of the organization, development of subgroups, and growth of partnership opportunities from grants to shared bandwidth to the potential for content collaboration.
