Abstract:The MISO Bryn Mawr Survey is a Web-based quantitative survey designed to measure the use and effectiveness for students, faculty, and staff of the services and resources of merged library and computing units. The survey team will talk about the development process, pilot implementation, and benefits of the instrument.

The Instructional Technology Group at Brown has armed faculty with easy-to-use technologies for instant feedback in class and ongoing feedback out of class. The personal response system graphs in-class student responses. WebCT tools generate feedback for both students and faculty.

Abstract:This presentation describes the initial phases of developing a process to identify and catalog IT initiatives for academic technology campus-wide to help UNH senior leadership set priorities, understand aggregate funding needs, and target appropriate funding streams. We will discuss the survey instrument, communication strategy, and the preliminary results of the survey.
