Abstract:

Wireless technology is being touted as a panacea for providing Internet access to the rural and underserved areas of this country. In addition, the capabilities of broadband technology and third generation wireless services have launched a battle over what industry and services may use the spectrum. Panelists will address the policy challenges these new technologies pose for regulators and what the education community is doing to ensure it is not left behind.
