Realizing the learning opportunity in students' involvement in their learning process through the use of podcasting, a study was conducted at the University of Southern Mississippi to determine students' knowledge and attitudes of podcasting use in teaching and learning before the campus-wide implementation. Baylor University has spent two years working on a large-scale deployment of whole-disk encryption. This session will present the process from selecting the encryption technology to the culminating deployment. The result is the mediation of data loss that can result from the loss or theft of a technology asset.

Second Life provides a space where remote students can participate in poster sessions, live presentations, and hands-on demonstrations of student research alongside on-campus students.
