Brad Wheeler

Dr. Brad Wheeler is the Indiana University Vice President for IT & CIO with responsibility for IU's IT services to eight campuses and is the IU-Bloomington Dean for IT. Prior to becoming the CIO, he held several roles as the Assoc Dean for Teaching and Learning IT, AVP for Research Computing, and AVP for Community Source Initiatives. He currently serves in leadership roles for over $50M of shared university investments in open source software including chairman of the Kuali Foundation Board and was a co-founder of the Sakai Project. He was a co-founder of the HathiTrust and serves on its Executive Committee. As a Professor of Information Systems at IU's Kelley School of Business, he has taught MBA courses in Executive Leadership of IT Strategy and e-business/e-learning courses for corporate/academic audiences in 26 countries on six continents.
