Colleen Carmean

Colleen Carmean serves as Director of e-Learning & Innovation Technologies for the School of Global Management & Leadership (SGML)at Arizona State University.

Her responsibilities include strategic planning for adoption of new learning environments, including online and emergent. She's responsible for SGML presence on the net, including Web site and social networking tools. She teaches critical thinking and applied computing courses, and is currently doing research on enterprise knowledge capture. Carmean, Patricia McGee and Ali Jafari recently completed a book on Next Generation Course Management Systems, available from the IDEA Group Publishing: http://www.idea-group.com/
Dr. Carmean is a 2002 EDUCAUSE NLII Fellow, a 2004 Frye Fellow and a 2006 AZ Wakonse Fellow.
