About MeMy BioI am the Assistant Director for Learning Technology at Notre Dame's Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning. For over 25 years my career has centered on helping faculty use technology in their courses. I teach workshops on such topics as effective use of technology and how to write a teaching statement. I manage the web site for the Learning Technology Lab and supervise student workers there. I am also a representative to the Learning Technology Consortium. In Spring 2008 my projects include exploring Second Life with a faculty learning community, publishing a course in the Notre Dame OpenCourseWare space, and redesigning a web site. I teach Applied Multimedia Technology for the Computer Applications department. I have presented at national conferences and published a number of articles and essays. I earned a BA in Spanish from Cornell and an MA in education from the University of Rochester. I also studied instructional design at Penn State.
