Dan Gilbert
About MeMy BioDan Gilbert is the Academic Technology Specialist at the Stanford Center for Innovations in Learning (SCIL). He advises faculty and instructors from a variety of disciplines on how to use Wallenberg Halls advanced resource classrooms to meet the learning goals for their courses. He also works with a team that evaluates specific technologies for learning and conducts interviews, focus groups and surveys to gather student and instructor feedback on the Wallenberg Hall spaces. Dan also developed and co-teaches "Designing Learning Sapces" for students in Stanford's Graduate School of Education. Dan has evaluated after-school technology education programs at Childrens Discovery Museum of San Jose, taught English as a Second Language in both the U.S. and in Japan, and worked for a Silicon Valley startup.
