James A. Jorstad

Jim A. Jorstad, is currently the Director of Educational Technologies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He has spent the past 23 years in innovation in effectively integration information technologies in the environment of teaching and learning. He has a long record of regional, national, and international presentations, published articles, and projects to his credit. In additional to numerous leadership positions and honors, Jim has been twice selected as one of the top multi-media producer in the United States by AV Video Magazine.

Jim has a particularly extensive background in the design of effective learning spaces, integrating technology into the learning process, and the creation and production of a wide range of presentation technologies.

An active member of EDUCAUSE, he is a honored Frye Institute Fellow from 2005, a member of the EDUCAUSE Quarterly Editorial Board, and a presenter at the international conference.
