Leslie Dare

Dr. Leslie Dare is Director of Distance Education & Technology Services for the Division of Student Affairs at NC State University. Leslie earned a bachelor’s degree from Marshall University, and a master’s degree from NC State University in counselor education, with a concentration in student development. Her doctorate was earned at NC State University in higher education administration. Her primary responsibility is providing leadership to the Division of Student Affairs in the areas of technology and distance education. Recent projects include: a nation-wide webcast on "The Facebook Phenomenon," co-leadership of the NASPA Technology Knowledge Community, research on the topic of technology administration, and the development of technology planning protocols for Student Affairs.
