Paul Trafford

Paul Trafford is returning to full time studies - having attended a Pali Summer School in August, he will embark on a Master's in the Study of Religion at Oxford University in October '08. He was previously based in the Learning Technologies Group at Oxford University Computing Services, where he specialised in e-learning systems and ubiquitous computing. He was responsible for the administration of WebLearn, Oxford's centrally hosted Learning Management System, which is based on Bodington open source software; in 2004/2005 he led RAMBLE, a JISC-funded project linking mobile blogs with LMSes. Paul completed his Ph.D in Computer Science (The Use of Formal Methods for Safety-Critical Systems) at Kingston University; he also has a M.Sc. by research in Mathematics (Number Theory) from Glasgow University; and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Southampton University.
