Vidya Ananthanarayanan

Vidya Ananthanarayanan works for Center for Learning and Technology (formerly Instructional Media Services) at Trinity University, San Antonio, TX. She provides support and training on Blackboard, and the integration of educational technology tools into pedagogy and instructional design. She also offers training and support to campus faculty and staff on office productivity applications (MS Office), graphics and web design, and multimedia. Vidya has a masters in Digital Media from Abilene Christian University and a chequered career profile that includes stints in journalism, Internet-based PR, and website content management and online news. She is currently co-teaching a First Year Seminar class titled "Smart Mobs: Communities and Collaboration in the Internet Era". She is an honorary member of the Teaching and Learning Committee, a member of the Information Technology Comittee on campus. She attended the inaugural sesssion of the Educause Instructional Technology Leadership Institute as an Associated Colleges of the South delegate.
