Rave Alert

After substantial review of available SMS/Text messaging emergency notification hosted service providers, Colorado State University (CSU) selected Rave Wireless. Our decision was based on the best price/performance/management combination. We also appreciated the options to integrate Rave Alert with Banner and add voice (landline) notification. We were also engaged by the ability to send messages using either SMTP (non-emergency) and SMPP ( emergency), creating "affinity" groups with opt in option, and having those groups managed "locally" rather than centrally. We are currently in the process of implementation and expect to test in July.
