  • Navigating the Executive Search Process

What should I expect when I apply for a senior leadership position? What is the role of a search firm and how should I interact with them? How do I know if I’m ready for a role? How can I best tell my story to land the job?

This one-hour interactive session will explore these and other questions to increase participant understanding of how institution’s hire senior IT executives and provide advice on how to prepare for a recruitment process. Next Generation Leadership Partners, a leader in higher education searches for senior IT executives will provide an insider’s view of the search process and the role of search firms. After a brief overview of the search process, the Next Generation team will lead small group discussions for participants to dig deeper into three aspects of the search process:
    1.     Communicating your brand through your resume, cover letter and social media,
    2.     Interviewing successfully, and
    3.     Evaluating if a role and organization is right for you.

  • 2023 EDUCAUSE Student Success Community Group Survey

We would like to gather feedback from everyone to see what you, the community group,  want from the Student Success Analytics Community Group (SSA CG).  The SSA CG Steering Committee is dedicated to the success of this group, and we will use the results of this survey to inform the direction of the SSA CG.

Student success analytics is a broad concept. As our community has grown, the steering committee has intentionally been inclusive by not limiting the definition of student success analytics. With that in mind, as you answer the remaining questions, please think of student success analytics in your context.

This survey is anonymous, so we thank you for your thoughtful, honest feedback.

Our group authored such articles as "A Framework for Student Success Analytics", "Discrimination in a Sea of Data: Exploring the Ethical Implications of Student Success Analytics", "A Rubric Accompanying the Student Success Analytics Framework".

If you'd like to participate in future similar projects, you'll find more information on how to do so in the survey.

This survey should not take more than 5 minutes of your time. This survey will be open until September 22.
