I also seem to be having some issues with the changes in sharing the airplay server with ap neighbors . This is in addition to those added things in the network policy for airplay. In airgroup v1 for wired servers it is shared with 3 hop neighbors. Now with v2 its 1 hop neighbor and if you need more ...

Been trying to dig more into changes from the v1 to v2 airgroup and this sounds like maybe what is causing issues for some of the airplay servers to not display in the building with 258. airgroup network profile configures the MAC address or MAC OUI to be denylisted, maximum allowed IP address per ...

So working with tac still in airgroup but in my testing so far it seems maybe something just with one building that has 258 wired AirPlay servers. I've tested some other buildings and things seem to work ok both wired and wireless AirPlay servers. The building with the 258 is very inconsistent in what ...

There is no auto associate for wired airplay servers that I know of. I have to cppm register them and then share the locations that correlate with the airplay server. I do like all the show commands and how I can see what stuff has cppm policies and if its passing that now. Honestly if it was just airplay ...

Yes of course I did this in my lab and tested airgroup but only have one airplay server and one wireless voip phone. Both of which worked fine. Like you said cant emulate load. I have buildings with 200+ wired airgroup servers so don't think I can spin that up in lab. Also .3 was pulled because of a ...

I went to 8.10.0.2 to support some 505h aps. Find it odd that all my 515 and 535 work on the 8.6 train but not the 505h. Anyway I'm going back to my old 8.6 train. All my airgroup stuff isn't working and also have lots of cisco 8821 all are having call quality issues on this code. I know in the 8.9 and ...

What all mdns services do you have enabled for screen mirroring? I have airplay, dial, dlna-media and googlecast enabled. I also just added custom mdns service string for oculus quest 2 for the airlink function. The service string is _oculusal_sp._tcp

What metrics are you using to gauge poor performance? I have mix of 515,514 and 535 and not seeing any "performance issues" related to the aps or rf. Having had this split ssid debate internally and we ultimately decided not to do it. Wasn't aware of 802.11k or v helping with band selection. We have those enabled as well but for all the roaming benefits. What we have done and what seems to really help is that we design and deploy our 5ghz band at ...

That brings up a few questions: First, if you are an Aruba shop that doesn't utilize CPPM for Airplay and mDNS management, what do you use? N/a we use cppm Is anyone utilizing CPPM specifically for Airgroup registration (with, or without using CPPM for AAA)? Use cppm for airplay reg and other functions ...

I haven't actually seen this but I had a report from some folks at local healthcare in my area tell me they are now seeing ios 15 changing mac ever 24hrs. I've only seen ios change private macs per ssid. Has this now changed in latest ios 15 update to the 24hr random? Thanks Trent
