Slate and mobile devices that are P2PE compliant are an issue. It might depend upon who is doing the processing. If it is Stripe, to my knowledge, there not yet any P2PE compliant devices available, which makes in-person payments through Slate with Stripe a non-starter. --- James Gramke GCED,GSEC ...

Hi Michael, I'm with you all the way, except I've never heard that multi-use workstations are out of scope if their sole function isn't as a virtual payment terminal. Can you cite a source for that assertion? Maybe something in the Shopify contracts? Since I've often and consistently heard the ...

We are in the process of studying this issue, as this is an area our insurance company seemed to focus on this latest go-around. I would encourage anybody who is doing it to chime in, since one area of resistance is the perception that not many are doing it. Thanks, Jim --- James Gramke ...

The J.S. Mill quote is great indeed. I've used it many times to motivate pro lifers. If only we could agree on what is right and wrong. I think it is fine to discuss practical ramifications of the decision, but I doubt that discussing personal opinions or the rectitude of the decision in this forum ...

Hi All, I'm going to reply to my own response, in hopes of getting some discussion going, or some side meetings, etc. I've had a few offline comments, so why not share where I am with the group. We've done only a few basic DLP policies at the O365 and OneDrive. Beyond that it's a bit of a daunting ...

Tom, did you get any takers on this? We've dug into this with fits and starts, but have implemented very little to date. Seems like a good topic for a "Brain Date" style meeting – but wouldn't have to be over brain-date. Jim --- James Gramke GCED,GSEC IT Security Manager College of St. ...
