Stephen, What codes are your Airwave and controllers on? We saw somewhat similar weirdness running the controllers on 8.10.0.7 and Airwave on 8.2.15.1. ------------------------------ Brian Simpson Information Technology Manager University System of New Hampshire (603)-862-5991 ---------------- ...

To be clear on the problem, when the MD loses connectivity, (nearly) all IPv6 is dead. The MD can't even ping the gateway. Interestingly, we have seen where things that have an active session (yes, going through said dead gateway) to the controller over v6 continues to work (e.g., an ssh session to the ...

Could be related, but when we were running 8.10.0.5 we had an MD crash unexpectedly several times. We had no warning and no indication on the MM that the controller was down, but we would lose contact with these APs and clients would also lose conectivity. The only way we knew to fix it was to reboot ...

Thanks TJ, I sent you a message. I would love to chat about your solution and the config, as we're at 8.7.1.10, but plan to get to 8.10 possibly at winter break. ------------------------------ Brian Simpson Information Technology Manager University System of New Hampshire (603)-862-5991 ----------- ...

Hi, We are having a nightmare of a time connecting multiple Sonos speakers to our Open (mac auth) wifi. The idea is to deploy 4-5 of these throughout a two story building, all connecting to the Open network and controlling them via a mobile device on eduroam. We are able to connect them initially, see ...

We've been all wireless for the last five years. Maybe six, fuzzy memory. Anyway, it's been everywhere from a pain in the you know what, to an absolute nightmare. Older consoles are particularly troublesome, last spring XBox Ones, model 1540 just would not connect no matter what trick we pulled out. ...

Good morning, Another fall semester begins, which brings a new batch of gaming consoles having issues on our res hall wifi. My question is if anyone out there has tried going with 20 wide channels on the 5GHz band to help with Xboxes, PS4s and 5s, and other gaming devices that have been traditionally ...

Jon, we are running them L2. We do not route at our controllers. We also have "Enable DHCP" enabled on the eduroam AAA. That's interesting. But our trouble clients are getting good IPs, and look like they have correct roles, they just.....hang trying to connect. ------------------------------ Brian ...

I'm not sure this is totally related, but figured it would be worth sharing. We have been working on a Linux-specific (Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS) issue for weeks. We are Aruba 8.7.1.7, primarily 515s. We use Cloudpath for EAP-TLS on eduroam. The issue is an intermittent and unexplainable failure to connect ...

Hi all, We have some struggles with Smart TVs on our res hall wireless network. They have a hard time connecting to our open SSID (MAC Auth), constantly needing to be re-fingerprinted, then having to be bounced, re-registered, factory reset, etc. Most of the time a reset will do it, but sometimes not ...

I went through our config on the controller for anything QoS related, and noticed we had some Zoom Tos settings that never made it over to our new user role policies, so we fixed that. I also checked on Aruba Airheads and saw our Netdestination was slightly different than what's recommended, so we have ...

Following this thread with interest. We also have clients reporting Zoom issues (8.6.0.14 with 515 APs) when every other wireless functionality works (internet, email, etc.) Our stock answer has been to blame Zoom for it, but it would be nice to see if there's something solvable here.

Just for my own sanity's sake, when folks are saying disabling 11.ax features in an Aruba shop, do we mean disabling High Efficiency in the High Efficiency SSID profile? Or is there more to it to fully disable .ax functionality? We have been under the impression just doing the former was it. ------ ...

We installed 8.6.0.14 about 3 weeks ago on TAC's recommendation to alleviate the STM issues and (knock on wood) we have been stable since then. ------------------------------ Brian Simpson Information Technologist University System of New Hampshire (603)-862-5991 ------------------------------
