we're backing up just shy of 100TB on an ongoing basis. The big slowdown is the network and the limits imposed by the Google API. For that much, it may take more than 4 devices, depending on how your OUs are arranged - our ongoing backup takes just over a day to go through a full cycle. it took a couple ...

It's not so much the "keep it out", but the "know where it is" at this point. We have been working to create some guiding principles around the use of generative AI, and part of that is knowing/understanding where information ends up. Frank

Is this because we have "Gemini" turned off? ...

I'm with Jim on this - transparency is key. Let's be honest with our users, and with ourselves. These tools do give us the ability to see just about anything that is done on the computer, Up to and including getting copies of files (at least in crowdstrike's case... I don't know about Defender)We can ...

Just be careful, because you can only have a maximum of 10 includes (and that includes all includes in nested include statements)

A couple of things we've run into with pole-mounted boxes1) Make sure that you have them sealed up VERY well... silicone is your friend, use lots of it... even more than that... or you will get water in your box (We've started putting a layer of styrofoam packaging material at the bottom of the boxes ...

We looked at tape vs. online, and had two observations 1) online is off-site, but by definition not off-line2) tapes could be a capital purchase, where online was a higher overall operating expense - thus it was easier to budget for tape
