Could this possibly be related to Windows Defender Credential Guard? Microsoft is making Credential Guard enabled by default in latest builds of 10/11 - which breaks SSO - MSCHAPv2 - and solution is to switch to EAP-TLS. I'm curious if this is the behavior that you're seeing. Known Issue with Windows ...

Wonder if it's true 802.11g – or 802.11g but ONLY if 802.11b data rates are enabled like good ole Nintendo Wii, older X-Box, and an older gen temperature sensor. But yeah, good ol marketing! -Chris

A couple applications I've used for showing the AP Name [however they rely on dumping the bss table from the controllers into a CSV file and importing]. Windows App – WiFi Ping – Built by an Aruba Community Member – Extremely nice tool and the developer included some feature requests over the years ...

Good Morning, Was curious if anyone could recommend a good color AirPrint compatible printer for a special use-case use in printing from a small group of managed iPads [preferably with a wired port]. Looking at possibly using MDM Profiles to statically configure the printer -> https://developer.a ...

We're not a Cisco Wireless Environment, but how does your controller CPUs look during those periods of time? A few of our datapath CPUs on Aruba Controllers were maxing out, and traced it back to our favorite pal "multicast" that was making itself to the wireless network. Symptoms was 3 of the datapath ...

Thanks for everyone's feedback over the past few months. We upgraded to 8.10.0.5: So far haven't seen the one-way audio issue that Trent mentioned – hopefully that's a good sign they fixed that particular problem. The more concerning part – wanted to know if anyone else is running into this problem. ...

Recently discovered this while reviewing Clearpass 6.11 documentation. Figured make sure this was on other peoples' radar early on since it's more of a "summer/off-time" type of deal – although I'm sure some are probably more comfortable doing this over winter-break or a weekend – brave folks - There ...

Had been meaning to inquire about this from other universities for a while now – almost posted this in the "internal" WLAN/SSID topic – but figured keep it as it's own. How do other universities handle Wi-Fi Printers (Yes, No, 802.1X vs MPSK, etc) for campus use (non-Residence Halls). I have concerns ...

Hi Hunter, Oh most certainly not on wireless. Strictly on LAN side. Sorry, realized didn't finish my initial sentence, what I meant was "given how active WIRELESS-LAN has been recently from so many engineers" wanted to post this non-wireless question out in this channel to reach as many folks as possible ...

Not to hijack the conversation, but given since this spawned from Gaming Devices – and I feel like that has come up from a couple other universities in the past that went "All Wireless" for one or two Residence Halls. How exactly is that going for those folks[cause I feel like it would be a bit of a ...

We started off immediately with LEDs off years ago just to not annoy students with a bright light in their dark room at night. However, for some bizarre reason this year, we got an influx of tickets where students/parents were confident the Wi-Fi was broken since the LEDs were not on. One actually suggested ...

Oh, wow. And I forgot the BEST BEST part. The DEVICE MAC ADDRESS didn't even match what it was using for the Wired Network Connection....I had to look that up in DHCP Logs. :-/ So yeah, pretty much out of luck on both wired/wireless without Admin intervention....
