I believe that Jenzabar has this concept built into its SIS where you can prevent a student from registering until the student provides an address update. We use Reach Media for digital signage. There is a small "appliance" connected by network cable to each display, but the server software is in the cloud. It does a nice job of federating content management on each display, while also allowing our Marketing & Communications team to manage some content ...
