David, do you have a link to that PDF? I was having similar issues with trying to add overlapping events, and am looking for alternatives. It would be great if there was an option to download calendar invites for the various sessions so I can manage events in my work calendar, and not add another ...

Our institution has been dealing with this as well. I'd like to participate in conversations, and can share a few steps we've taken. Mike Hart | Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Executive Director of CyberSecurity and Data Assurance Metropolitan State University of Denver

It took a few years' worth of effort, but we were able to enact a policy to disallow auto-forwarding for all accounts. We discussed eDiscovery, the potential for sensitive information to be sent off campus, etc. The most compelling supporting story (which may have tipped the scales) came from a faculty ...

Not only is there no pricing, but no tool to identify how many licenses we'd need. As far as I know, there's no way to determine which users are using these features. I've been waiting for CDW-G and Microsoft to respond back to my questions. Doing this in the middle of a contract term seems like bad ...

Margaret, We were just having a conversation about this in an O365 meeting this morning. One challenge we raised was figuring out how to identify which users to notify. When things like Basic Authentication are deprecated, we can run reports to determine which users are going to be impacted. Does anyone ...

Great responses, Larry. I've had similar problems with providers just pointing to their hosting provider's documentation. I've told vendors that I'm asking the equivalent of – are you a safe driver? I don't want to hear back that they drive a safe car, I'm interested in how they operate a car safely. ...

We force a change in account ID when an employee/student becomes just a student. It's a challenge if the transition is mid-semester.

We bought hardware tokens for those who had no device or had reservations about using their personal device. Out of the tens of thousands of users over the years, we've only distributed ~ 100 tokens total.

Similar to the issue described here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/admin-center/office-365-admin-usage-reports-all-guids-all-the-time/m-p/44287 my reports are all displaying GUIDs instead of email addresses. We're assuming that Microsoft will need to apply the same fix they've done in the past, ...

Okay. I missed that. I'm sure most people will, as most use the built-in functionality of their mail client to respond to email in all other cases. Why not include the sender's email address in the From field?

With the structure of the messages, there isn't an option to just reply to the sender. The listserv messages should have an actual "From" field listing the sender's email address so recipients can reply instead of reply-all. This is less about behavior and more about functionality. In the meantime, ...

Rusty, We're also running Azure SSO/MFA. We have a few students in this situation and just issue them physical tokens. We worried about costs for tokens but have found that the percentage of users demanding fobs is quite low. Mike Hart | Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Metropolitan State ...

Hi, Tom. It varies for us. Many of our vendors and partners have done it for free, although it may require a higher tier subscription for their services. A few charge for one-time implementation, and at least one has an annual charge for the service. The annual charge for the one vendor is around ...

MSU Denver uses Team Dynamix, which notifies the authors of our Knowledge Base Articles when a review is due. I assume that the review deadline is a configurable timeframe, but don't know for sure. Which reminds me, I have some KBs to update.
