We also worked with our library to move from internally IT managed EZProxy to OCLC hosted EZProxy precovid. We have been happy with the service. Took a bit of load off for a reasonable price. JM

I thought the idea behind quic was to reduce latency and secure connections better. Building a better tcp in effect. Kirsti - A very good question. I will check with our folks to see if an Soc report was requested. I will say the company is small maybe 8-10 employees with their chief technology expert being their CEO CTO etc. So far any time a technology question is brought up that person is brought in so not sure ...

Unfortunately the vendor wants essentially an ssh tunnel (not an ssh client connection). At least a client connection would limit them to the applications on the server they connect to. However they want to tunnel their servers traffic into our network. I see this as essentially on their command allowing ...

I would think that there would be ways to get the same things done via whatever APIs that Ellucian offers. So do any of you that have the Gateway or Proxy setup use oracles DBFW/data defense or any other application level ips or firewalls? Also are you letting the vendor tunnel into those hosts or do ...
