Larry - Not the 9800's (we have not deployed them yet) but we've enable 802.11r, Fast Transition, on our Cisco 8540 WLC's (8.10.130.0) and have no reports of client issues. However, we have seen a drastic reduction of cpu spikes on our Cisco ISE infrastructure by enabling FT which eliminated 1.6M authentications ...

We use Cisco Firepower's in FTD and ASA mode. Priced in between PA and Fortinet for 100G build. Does what we want. Management is ok now that we've had them for 5+ years but the os upgrade and deployments are a pain. There is a lot of performance tuning that needs to be customized to your environment ...
