Is there a registration for this or do we just click on the sessions at the appointed times? Is there a registration cost? ------------------------------ Andy Tincknell Learning Commons Coordinator Fort Hays State University ------------------------------

This was a great session yesterday. I had to duck out before the end. I saw it was being recorded and, if possible, would love a link to refer back to for some extra notes that will help in our upcoming renovation project. ------------------------------ Andy Tincknell Learning Commons Coordinator ...

No one has voiced any privacy concerns thus far, though it is pretty new. I can see where that could be a concern. I'd like the running clock for recording to be more prominent, but you can see it pretty well with the setup I have. I did change the display settings on that monitor to make the text larger. ...

I just finished reimagining our One-Button Studio as the Penn State model was no longer working reliably for us. I'm using the free OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software Studio) software and recycled several parts purchased for the One-Button Studio. It cost very little, though some of that was due to ...

Here is a very quick video showing a mockup I've created for this OBS idea I've been going on and on about. I've found two obstacles to this setup that I'm trying to overcome. This HDMI to USB adapter feeds the signal from the One-Button Studio camera to the OBS computer, far cheaper than Blackmagic. ...

I'd love to attend, but unfortunately tomorrow at 8am PDT doesn't work for me. Hopefully something will still come together next week. I'd be grateful if you could record this one in case it doesn't. I'm interested in what everyone has to say. ------------------------------ Andy Tincknell Learning Commons ...

I'm very excited about where this thread has gone, but have tried to hold off responding until the end of the day to avoid flooding mailboxes. There's been some very helpful information. The idea of the Epiphan Pearl is intriguing, as is the gaming/streaming concept from Isaac. I've been heading down ...

I was under the impression that 2.0 wasn't going to be released outside of Penn State. I hope I'm wrong, but I think they are only releasing 1.0's code, which I'm not savvy enough to use. This is from their website... "Thank you for your interest in One Button Studio. After nearly a decade of making ...

Our library's One-Button Studio is becoming more and more unreliable. I don't feel like I can upgrade anything for fear of breaking it completely. Has anyone found an equitable successor? I've got some fun ideas using Open Broadcaster Software, but have run into a couple of stumbling blocks including ...
