Hi Joseph, I'm unclear on what this all means even after reading the ARIN site info. We have an ASN and a /22 ipv4 block, and on the latter it says "RSA/LRSA - Yes". Those aren't very many resources, but is there a quick way to explain who can take advantage of the lower rates? Best regards, Mark - Biola ...

I can't help with the radio stuff, but I'm not sure it would be a good idea to use port-channels on separate wireless links like that. Perhaps you need L2 adjacency, but if not you could use routing equal cost load balancing. I've been doing that to load balance across Ubiquiti Airfiber 24 and 60 Ghz ...

Our datacenter core and campus core are separate L3 domains, so that's why there are no VPC or L2 of any sort between them. The 9300s each have a L3 port-channels to the 6880 VSS. The VPC peer-link at this point is a vestige of the UCS setup that was only recently fully ripped out. There is no need ...

We're a Cisco shop, but as you say multi-chassis port-channels are available with competitors. But I suppose the same questions arise, although perhaps not if those competitors don't recommend using a flavor of multi-chassis port-channels with ESxi. Cisco gives standard advice about LACP preventing spanning ...

Hello, We have a number of VMware ESxi host on-prem servers. We started out years ago on Cisco UCS with fabric interconnects connected via L2 VPC (Cisco brand multi-chassis port-channel) to our Nexus 9300 series routers in the datacenter. But over time our sysadmin team found the UCS to have many ...

We've been using a pair of Ubiquiti AF60-LR for about 8 months at distance of about 1.1 km, and just ordered a few more. Each unit weighs 3.5 pounds without mount. Super easy setup. It uses beam forming on the link. I think they're an excellent choice. Very cost-effective.

Instead of inserting a negative judgment of the value of elements of a discussion for you personally and requesting it to stop, you could have originally simply said "Hey, why don't you start a new thread for this topic?". Now you've essentially done that in the 1st paragraph of your latest, which is ...

The thing about public communication–as opposed to private–is that it's irrelevant who asked an original question because responses aren't made to an individual, but to the entire group. If the originator of a given piece of communication controlled the subsequent discussion, it's not a public discussion. ...
