I'm working on an environment which has 21,779 unique logins within the last 30 days and according to the Google Rep there is supposed to be 5GB of additional storage added to the 100TB pool for each active user. Gmail can be encrypted by ensuring TLS to the destination. You can also use Confidential Mode. Then finally you have the ability to sign and encrypt emails entirely with S/MIME. Then finally you can use 3rd party services like Virtu. What kind of encryption are you referring to?

This may be a solution for some. If a user has access to a Workspace environment of their own (a free one can be made temporarily if needed) they can use rclone to move those files directly into their own account, preserving File IDs and history for example.
